Home After Half a Year in Australia

Leaving the country that had been my home for the past 6 month was undeniably the hardest part of this trip, and seeing Cairns becoming smaller and smaller through the plane window broke my heart slightly.
These past many months have been absolutely magical. I've laughed uncontrollably, I've cried rivers, I've met beautiful people, I've met not so great people, I've attempted surfing, I've failed at surfing, I've gotten drunk and fallen out of a trolley, I've gotten lost, I've found my way back home, and I've loved every minute of my time in this country!

It's an unbelievably huge contrast being home - not just the weather but mainly the lack of new, interesting people with lovely accents in my life. I'd love nothing more than flying right back, but for now it's time to work and get back into things!

  1. LAURA!!! KH Sheena
